Robert was a software engineer before becoming an attorney. His career ran from the late 80’s to 2002. During that time, his interest in the legal aspect of the technology industry grew. Finally he decided to go to law school and begin applying his technology knowledge to the legal world. Robert went into sole practice from 2005-2007, where he used his computer related knowledge to help individuals and businesses with many matters. He practiced trademark law, computer contract law, internet contract law and copyright law. In 2008 he joined Speer Hoyt PC, where he continues to help individuals and businesses with their technology and intellectual property legal needs. In 2004, Robert graduated with honors from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Oregon Law School during his last semester.
