Thomas H. Hoyt

Tom’s practice includes estate planning, business issues, taxation and real estate. Tom has served as a Trustee of the U of O Foundation since 1988. He is the founding chair of the Foundation’s Research and Technology Transfer Committee. He has experience in many aspects of business, including emerging and start-up businesses, from the ground floor through sale and succession.

He focuses on practical and problem-solving advice for his clients. Where appropriate, he attempts to obtain quick and satisfactory settlements through mediation or arbitration.

Tom graduated from Willamette University College of Law in 1966 and started practicing law in Eugene in 1967. Tom has enjoyed representing a broad cross-section of clients.
