Travis W. Misfeldt
J.D., University of Washington Law School (1999)
B.S., magna cum laude, Conservation of Wildland Resources with an emphasis in
Economics, University of Washington (1996)
Travis began his legal career as a trial attorney and continues to try cases when necessary. Recognizing that litigation is expensive, however, he also tries to achieve sensible, cost-effective solutions for his clients away from the courtroom when possible. Travis has particular skill with complex cases and transactions because he is able to assist his clients in separating their legal issues from the people involved, which is, in his experience, a key part of navigating complex matters successfully.
Travis is a successful and accomplished lawyer, but what sets him apart from other comparable lawyers is that he always puts his relationship with his client first. Travis plans to practice law in this community for decades to come and approaches each new client he sees as a future old friend that he is just getting to know.
Travis is married and has three children. As part of his commitment to service in the community where he lives and practices, Travis serves on the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce's Local Government Affairs Council and is a member of the Board of Directors of Eugene Little League. He is also a member of the Eugene Southtowne Rotary Club.
