Russell represents a wide variety of businesses, individuals, cities, fire districts and other local
government clients. He has extensive experience in all phases of employment law, including
collaboration, employee relations, hiring, discipline, termination and investigation of claims of
harassment or discrimination. He also has substantial experience in business law, including formation,
transfers, policy development, "best practices" management training, contract drafting and dispute
resolution, and lease negotiation, as well as day-to-day business planning and legal issues. He also
has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate transactions, and is the past Chair of the Lane
County Attorney / Realtor Committee.
